U-23 and what it means...
Introduced in November 2008,
the Portland Timbers U-23s is the official
development team of the Portland Timbers.
The Timbers U-23s compete in
United Soccer Leagues' Premier Development League and won the league title in just their
second year of existence.
The league is North America's top amateur league
for players 23 years of age and younger and serves as a ground for elite and up-and-coming players.

Pre-game assembly at 10:00am
The pre-game assembly features Timbers players,
Providence’s respiratory therapy,
heart health, and physical therapy teams focusing on healthy living,
nutrition, stretching, and the ill effects of tobacco use.
