The events at this website are only for families who school at home. This includes homeschooling, unschooling and families who use an alternative school. The discounts I receive are for 'school' groups, so the events are not for individual adults.
Besides the cost of any event, there is a $3.00 per family set up fee for any event you decide to go to. You may pay this for each individual event or pay one of the different ways listed below.
If you pay $30.00 for set up fees in advance, you will receive one set up fee free. Every time you sign up for an event I will take $3.00 out of the $30.00 until you reach $.00. This does not expire, so if it takes you years to use the $30.00, that is fine.
Or you may pay $30.00 per year. With this you will be able to go to any event for that year without paying a set up fee. This will expire one year from the first event you attend after paying. This is a good choice if you know you will be attending more than 10 events in one year.
You may only sign up your own individual family. If you have friends that would like to attend an event, they will need to read these guidelines and sign up themselves.
If you cannot make it to an event that you've already paid for and there is not a 'no refund' policy on that event, your account will be credited the money for future events. The $3.00 set up fee will not be refunded.
The 'no refund' policy applies to all plays, Mad Science, School on Trains and any other event when stated. I will always try to find another family to take your place if you need to cancel.
Some events have the cost split between families. Mad Science is an example. If you need to cancel after you have signed up, you are still liable to pay unless another family takes your place. It would not be fair to the other families if the price is raised due to a cancellation.
When wanting to attend an event you will need to fill out the form located on the event page. After filling out the information asked for and clicking on the 'submit' button, you will be returned to the same page. If the box is empty then it went through fine. After submitting, I will receive the information and sign you up or put you on a waiting list if the event is full. I will then send you a confirmation with information and instructions on how you can pay. You are not actually signed up unless you hear back from me and I confirm you are.
If an event is full and if there is enough families on a waiting list, I will try to set up another time to go.
At least one parent (or another arranged adult) needs to attend the events with their children. There are no drop offs.
I am not liable for any lost or stolen items at any events. In addition, I am not liable for any damage to vehicles or bodily injuries at these events.
